Berlinale: Fliegauf’s Just The Wind to screen in competition
It’s back to Berlin, but this time in competition for Hungarian director Benedek Fliegauf, who was discovered in the Forum section in 2003 with his debut feature Forest. He will be in the race for the Golden Bear at the 62nd Berlinale (February 9-19, 2012) with his fifth feature: Just The Wind.

The 37-year-old director hasn’t wasted his time along the way for he has made a string of films, including the multiple award-winning Dealer in 2004, the experimental Milky Way (Golden Leopard at Locarno in the Filmmakers of the Present section in 2007) and the English-language film Womb (in competition at Locarno in 2010).

A rural thriller set against a backdrop of racism and centred on a gypsy family from the Great Plains stalked by killers, Just The Wind was produced by Hungary’s Inforg-M&M Film and co-produced by Germany (The Post Republic) and France (Paprika Films).

Sales are expected to be handled by The Match Factory.
