Üvegtigris 3 ready to shoot
The third sequel of the very successful Hungarian cult-comedy Üvegtigris (Filmpartners Ltd.) will start shooting on 21st June. Péter Rudolf director, main actor and co-writer of all the three parts promises that this new film will keep the special atmosphere and characters which made the success of the previous movies, but will add more action to it.
Compared to the previous films – which were shot mainly on one place near a small lake – Üvegtigris 3 will have more shooting locations, one of them being the Europa Ship, where the press conference was held. “The shooting will probably last 34 days” – producer Gábor Kovács told at this conference. The budget of the film is 300 million forints (1.1 million Euro) but only 30% of it comes from public funding.
The first part of the trilogy was seen by 120 000 spectators in 2001, whilst Üvegtigris 2 attracted 310 000 spectators in 2006. The third part will be presented in the Hungarian cinemas by the end of this year.
