Established in 1992, Filmteam, is a primary representative of the emerging Hungarian new wave. Founding producer István Major worked on numerous successful films, including Dealer, the winner of several international accolades, Black Brush and Bird Releaser, Clouds and Wind, to mention but a few, as well as short films such as Execution, which was also a success outside of Hungary, and Patience, which was nominated for a Europe award. Due to its close contacts and widespread connections within the industry, Filmteam, which is also active in producing commercials, is a firm base for foreign co-productions and young film people alike.
