Museum of Applied Arts

The building, which is one of the masterpieces of Hungarian Art Nouveau, was completed in the year of the Hungarian millennium, 1896, designed by Ödön Lechner and Gyula Pártos. The palace characterized by an eastern ornamental style and Hungarian motifs is covered by a roof made of Zsolnay ceramic tiles. The glass roof of the two-storey arched exhibition hall and the entrance portico are unique architectural solutions.
