The building, which formerly served as the Palace of Justice, was constructed at the end of the 19th century in Eclectic style. The enormous block has four facades and three storeys, its main facade is fundamentally Neorenaissance, but includes a few Baroque elements as well. The interior, especially its grand hall, the play of stairs and arcades is a fascinating sight. Its colorful marble ornaments, gilded stuccos, frescoes lend luxurious elegance to the place.
