Pázmány Péter University
The Faculty of Arts of the Pázmány Péter Catholic University opened in 1994 in Piliscsaba. Architect Imre Makovecz transformed the buildings of the institution from a former Soviet military base using the traditions of folk and organic architecture. Since the site belongs to a nature reserve, the buildings are only three or four storeys high. The expansion of the campus is still under way.
