Madách building
The robust Madách building constructed in the early 20th century stands in the heart of downtown, near Deák square. The U-shaped brick building is supported by marble pillars, its appearance is unified by the rhytm of the windows. The wings are connected in the middle by an enormous arched passage. Behind the pillars of the building, there’s an arcade for pedestrians, while the area between the wings is used as a parking lot.
