The Kopaszi dam
The area that lies south of the Lágymányos bridge and enjoys local protection is actually a peninsula that separates the Lágymányos bay from the Danube. It was a popular resort already in the past century, later a quarry, boathouses and small restaurants opened here. Today it is the most neglected area of District 11. The atmosphere of the Communist era still lingers here.
