The Funicular
The Buda Castle Funicular has been operating since 1870. Two carriages transport passenger up and down on the 95-meter-long, 48 % steep tracks. Iron-structured, glass-paneled stations have been built next to it. The funicular offers a magnificent view of Pest. The tracks and the carriages were renovated in 1986.
