Cog-wheel railway terminus
The construction of the cog-wheel railway started in 1873 along Diósárok based on a Swiss model. The 2.8-kilometer-long track connects the Városmajor park and Széchenyi Hill. The line was renovated and modernized in 1973. Some of the most popular excursion destinations of Budapestians can be reached from here.
