The Farkashegy airport
Gliders have been using the airport in the Farkashegy valley since 1929. The ridge is perpendicular to on the direction of the wind, which makes the slope an ideal place for gliders. A hangar, a petrol station, a camping site and wooden cabins have been built in the area, and the airport is the site of a number of international gatherings.
