Deák square

One of the key traffic junctions in Budapest. This is where the three metro lines meet. The metro stops are located on three separate floors. The deepest and oldest level is the east-west line (Metro 2), followed by the north-south line (Metro 3), which has a more modern design; and the renovated subsurface railway stop just beneath the street level. The levels are connected by escalators. The underpass system has two separate dividing sections near the surface.
