I’ve made several documentaries for hungarian televisions. The main interest of my films is the social problemes of the minorities of our country or the Hungarians living abroad. One of them tells the story of Hungarian-Slovakian „exchange of population” after the second world war.

Another part of films I was made in theme of Holocaust. The Carousel presents three generations of a surviver family. The Rightouses says how the christians saved the persecuted Jewes. The Alyah was made the ex-sowiet Jewish immigration to Israel.

The last fifteen years I made some films in Germany, as See again after fourty five years: the woman meeting in a former forced labour camp in Stadtallendorf (Hessen) in ’90. The last years I shouted films in Berlin about the Jewish Museum. The film Hungarians at the Wall spekas the story how the young Hungarian liberals helped their friends lived in East-Berlin. Another film My Berlin presents some Berlin-fan Hungarians as they see the city and how they live there.

In the last monthes I started a serie of documentaries about the Hungarian psychoanalists. The first tells the immigration of Dormándi family related to Michael Bálint. They lived in Paris at a time of Naci’s Occupation 1940-44. Now I prepare a film about the immigration of psychoanalists to United States and other free countries from ’38.

The actual project Soul and fate contacts to my serie about the Hungarian Psychoanalisis and their parallel stories with the German.

I was born in 1936 at Budapest. I am making films from more then fourty years now as retired freelancer producer and director.
