Etyekwood may be built by spring
SHOOTING MAY START IN MAYThe walls of the Sándor Korda Film Studios are standing; the project can be completed by Spring 2007, managing director László Krisán told MTI.
Following testing, the first film crews may start work in May at the studio which meets 21st century technical and artistic expectations and is being built as a joint venture by Hungarian-born American producer Andrew G. Vajna and businessman Sándor Demján. László Krisán expects the studio to be competitive not only because of its equipment and proximity to Budapest, the darling of filmmakers, but also because crews can work there with a twenty percent discount offered by Hungarian filmmaking legislation. This is expected to attract even the world's biggest filmmakers, the managing director added.
