Main Prize of the 36th Hungarian Film Week ended on 8th February went to BLACK BRUSH, a first film by Roland Vranik.

„Golden Microphone” prize offered by the Hungarian Audio Engineering Society (H.A.E.S.) to Gábor Balázs for Dallas Pashamende, Paths of Light and Stop Mom Theresa! for the inventive work of sound engineers in all three films serving the artistic standard in a creative way

„Golden Scissors” prize offered by the Hungarian Society of Film and Video Editors (H.S.E.) to Péter Politzer for the editing of co-creator standard of the film Paths of Light

Best supporting actress prize offered by the Hungarian Motion Picture Foundation to Ildikó Tóth for her inspired, accurate and inventive forming of the character of the Psychologist in the film See You In Space!

Best supporting actor prize offered by the Hungarian Motion Picture Foundation to Sándor Csányi for his accurate forming of the characters in the films The Porcelain Doll, Stop Mom Theresa! and See You in Space!

Best actress prize offered by the Hungarian Motion Picture Foundation to Dorka Gryllus for her credible and also passionate forming of the character of Oana in the film Dallas Pashamende

Best actor prize offered by the Hungarian Motion Picture Foundation to György Cserhalmi for his accurate character forming in the films The Unburied Man and Paths of Light

Producer’s prize offered by Gaston Studio to Péter Miskolczi and Gábor Váradi for their contribution to the first film Paths of Light
Producer’s prize offered by Kodak, Hungary to Gábor Garami for his contribution to the films Who the Hell Is Bonny and Clyde? and A Miracle in Cracow
Producer’s prize offered by FilmJus to Ágnes Pataki, István Major, Gábor Kovács and András Muhi for their successful cooperation in producing the first film Black Brush

Best screenplay prize offered by CINEMAX, the new film channel of HBO to József Pacskovszky, Pál Sándor and Francisco Gózon for See You in Space! for its virtues of creating well formed situations, exciting and living characters and handling poetic as well as humorous elements equally well

Best first film offered by the Council of Budapest, the Capital of Hungary to Attila Mispál for Paths of Light for his inventive and imaginative work as a director

Best director of photography offered by Hungarian Film Laboratories to Gergely Pohárnok for the film Black Brush for the unity of style of its imagery and the well handled application of black-and white technique and his contribution as a co-creator

Best director’s visual effect offered by the Hungarian Directors’ Guild and Hungarian Film Laboratories to Áron Gauder for The District for the creation of an original film language realised on a high standard

Best direction offered by the Hungarian Motion Picture Foundation to Péter Gárdos for The Porcelain Doll for the innovative and original realisation which truly reflects the literary material it is based on

The Main Prize of the 36th Hungarian Film Week offered by the Ministry of National Cultural Heritage and the Hungarian Motion Picture Foundation goes to the creators of Black Brush for the innovative use of film language and the exceptional accuracy of teamwork in service of the creative aims.
