National Dance Theater
The National Dance Theater has been operating in the building previously used by the Buda Castle Theater since 2001. The 18th-century building originally constructed as a Carmelite monastery was renovated after the destruction of WW2. The simple, three-storey building has a richly decorated interior. Its multilevel auditorium with rows of boxes has excellent acoustics. Its gallery houses art exhibitions.
