After shooting in the Alps for three weeks, the new movie starring Nicolas Cage, Season of the Witch, has arrived to Hungary. They will be working on the movie here until February- told Film New Europe.

A 150 hungarians are part of a crew of 230, the hungarian producer is, like of the second part of Hellboy, Mid Atlantic.
The movie has beeen planned to be screened first in 2010.

The birthouse of William Fox, originally named Vilmos Fuchs, movie-studio maker is in bad condition, but renewable.- reported Népszabadság.
The organization of american movie makers is mainly the merit of Adolf Zukor (Zucker Adolf) who was born in Ricse and of that of William Fox, (Fuchs Vilmos) from Tolcsva in the Tokaj-Hegyalja region. Among others, the introduction of talkies and the first newsreels in 1925 in the american movie business is his merit.

Anne Frank movie coming to Fót The movie is based on the memoirs of Jopie, Jacqueline van Maarsen, titled My friend, Anne Frank, which has been translated to hungarian. The movie, Memories of Anne Frank will be directed by Alberto Negrin, who mainly worked for Italian Tv-productions so far. His movie, "Perlasca-story of a true man" was also filmed here in Hungary. According to IMDb Pro, the movie is being produced in the Netherlands and Sofia as well, but Moziplussz states, that work will be started in Fót a few weeks from now, because the concentration camp used in "Sorstalanság" and in "A csíkos pizsamás fiú", is here and they want to use it. |
