Tokod is a village of 4,500 in Komárom-Esztergom county. The grey station building reminds the spectator of a Communist-style block building. From an architectural aspect, it is not very interesting. The rail tracks are overgown with grass. The ruin of the factory building next to the station – the proof of the collapse of the Communist economy – heightens the depressing atmosphere.
