The Szt. László church built in Eclectic and Art Nouveau style by Ödön Lechner between 1892 and 1906 stands in the main square of Kőbánya. Its glazed roof tiles are already conspicuous from a distance. The three-naved church is adjoined by a hexagonal tower. The lower part of the tower forms an entrance hall. Its majolica altars are unique. A millennium monument, a three-meter-tall statue of Szent László and the one-time Kőbánya cinema are also located in the square.
